Can I hire the Equipment Vehicle without a Driver/PA?

Unfortunately no. The production assistant comes with the vehicle and is responsible for setting up, operating and packing the kit away, saving you time and the hassle of doing it yourself. They just need feeding and watering occasionally.

What payments methods do you offer?

You can pay online by credit card or by bank transfer. We accept all major credit cards such as Mastercard, Visa and American Express. A payment link will be sent with the invoice or you can pay over the phone if preferred. When paying by bank transfer we will need cleared funds before the vehicle leaves base.

Can I hire the Equipment Vehicle for multiple days?

Yes, you can hire the Equipment Vehicle and Additional Hire equipment for multiple days, however this may require the driver to need an over night hotel stay and security must be in place for the vehicle and equipment over night.

How long is a working day for the Equipment Vehicle and Crew?

Our working day is 12 hours from base to base.

What is your cancellation policy?

If the Customer cancels more than 30 days before the Rental Period begins, the Customer shall be liable to STEALTH for 50% of the Hire Charge;

If the Customer cancels less than 30 days but more than 14 days before the Rental Period begins, the Customer shall be liable to STEALTH for 75% of the Hire Charge;

If the Customer cancels less than 14 days before the Rental Period begins, the Customer shall be liable to STEALTH for 100% of the Hire Charge.

How much is overtime charged at?

Over time is charged after 12 hours at £125 per hour.

How do I pay for overtime and additional costs incurred over the shoot days?

We take a refundable overages deposit of £500 per day at the time of booking. If any additional costs are incurred, we will agree the hours and costs with you at the time they are requested. Our accounts team will then return the the full deposit or any remaining balance to you immediately after the job is complete. Any further costs can be paid for on credit card at the time they are requested.

Can I add Additional Hire items to the Equipment Vehicle?

Yes, you can add as much as you like to your order but the Equipment vehicle has limited space, so depending on the amount of additional equipment you order, this may require a separate vehicle for delivery and collection. Our team will be happy to advise when ordering or enquiring and delivery costs will be quoted separately where necessary.

Can I order Additional Hire Items without the Equipment vehicle and crew?

No, generally you can only hire 'Additional Equipment' if you are hiring the Production Equipment Vehicle and Crew. There may be the odd exception where we can provide individual items in an emergency. We are here to help so just speak to your advisor when you get in touch, although the hirer will be required to provide their own insurance for the rental period or agree to pay in full for any lost or damaged items.

What is the cost of Delivery & Collection of the Equipment Vehicle outside of London?

This depends on where in the country the vehicle is required. Our team will be happy to advise you when tailoring your quote.

What is the cost of Add-On Equipment Delivery & Collection?

We tailor our delivery and collection costs depending on how much equipment you hire and when and where in the country you need it. Please provide as much detail as possible about your location and we will be happy to add an acurate cost to your quote.

Can I organise my own Delivery & Collection of Hire items?

You are also welcome to organise your own delivery and collection from our warehouse in Hertfordshire, but please let us know when you or your courier is coming so we can make sure everything is ready for you.

Do you deliver internationally?

We can, but we'll need to discuss your exact requirements and work through the estimated costs with you.

What happens if equipment gets lost or damaged?

Please report this to the Driver/PA immediately. We understand things get lost sometimes and damage is inevitable, but it is the customers responsibility to replace any items like for like unless the damage is as a result of our teams negligence or due to wear and tear. Please see our T&C's for more details.

Can I pay for consumables on set?

We carry a credit card machine on the vehicle so you can pay for any consumables as you go.

Is there an additional cost for night time shoots?

If the call time is between 5pm and 5am, and deemed to be a 'Night Shoot', a surcharge of £950 will be charged. If it is an 'Early Call' (between 5am and 7am), an additional £125 will be charged on the first two hours. If it's a 'Late Call' (between 11am and 5pm) £125 surcharge will be levied on any hours after 11pm.

Do I have to pay for laundry?

No, you don't have to pay for laundry. We include this in our hire price, within reason. If for example you use every towel, robe and blanket we carry, we might ask you to contribute a little towards their cleaning, but we don't plan to retire on the proceeds of this.
